George P. Brown, CLU, ChFC, CPhD

Mr. Brown is a former Philadelphia banking executive. Throughout his career, Mr. Brown has assisted and served on the boards of a number of nonprofit organizations. He has worked with the development officers of charities and their high net worth donor families to establish planned giving programs that suit the estate planning needs of the family and the funding needs of the charitable organization. Additionally, Mr. Brown has created Connective Wealth, a new advisory network for the delivery of values-based collaborative development services to business owners.  He also formed the Trust Counselors Network for planned giving services. His teams of associates partner with other charitable and financial service providers to deliver trust and estate planning administration, investment management, qualified retirement plan and IRA custodial services for individuals, companies, community banks, law and accounting firms, community foundations and other organizations.


Chris Renfrow, CPA, CFE

Chris Renfrow founded CharityWorks in 1996 to foster innovative philanthropy. With over 20 years of administrative and financial management experience in the nonprofit industry, Chris Renfrow strongly believes creating social value means pooling resources from three markets to create a unified program that addresses a common objective.

Which three markets? Donors, Vendors, and Nonprofits. The common objective? To establish sound, strategic alliances to support charitable causes. The vehicle he developed to fulfill this objective is CharityWorks' Charitable Alliance Network (CAN) Program, and Common Ground.


Nicholas L. Gregory, ChFE, CFP®, CEBA

Over the past 33 years Mr. Gregory has consulted with attorneys, accountants, and financial professionals in better serving their clients through the financial engineering process(sm). He functions as a speaker, writer and consultant in the areas of cash management, risk management, investing, taxation, estate preservation, employee benefits, business succession and retirement planning, as well as business valuation, asset protection, and charitable giving. Mr. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ball State University with minors in Economics and Finance.


Michael G. Framberger, CLU, ChFC

Michael G. Framberger, President of Michael G. Framberger Seminars, Inc., is the author and creator of the Get Happy, Get Healthy, Be Wealthy system comprised of a book of the same name, seminars, an interactive website, e-zine, and newspaper column. As an avid outdoorsman, Michael participates in a number of triathlons, running, and cycling events, as well as backpacking, backcountry skiing and camping.


Terry D. Scharig

President and Founder, First Access Capital Corporation

 

Mr. Scharig has been involved in the securities industry for over 23 years and has specialized in income-oriented securities. Through his organization he provides due-diligence, training and marketing support for broker/dealers throughout the United States in private placement products. Prior to founding First Access Capital Corporation, Mr. Scharig served as Vice President of marketing for Transition Auto Leasing, Inc. He was responsible for the management of both public and private securities offerings. He was also Vice President of Jetfleet Management Corporation where he coordinated all syndication activities including recruitment of new broker-dealers and due diligence. His was instrumental in Jetfleet being listed on AMEX. Mr. Scharig received a Bachelors Degree in Architecture  from Kansas State University.
